Privacy Policy
- Your privacy and personal information is very important to Friends at the End (known hereafter as FATE). We want you to be confident that when you share personal information with us it won’t be passed to any third party.
- We may amend this privacy policy from time to time and will post any changes within this section of our website so please refer to it regularly for any changes.
- By viewing our website, you agree to our Terms and Conditions and our Cookie Policy.
- Please note this Privacy Policy only applies to information collected by our website. We are not responsible for the privacy of any information you reveal or post on any of the social media channels we use to promote FATE including, but not limited to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Neither are we responsible for the privacy policies of websites owned or operated by third parties or stockists of our products.
- We may collect two types of information from users of our website. The first is information you give us, such as your name, address and email address. We will only collect this information from you if you voluntarily submit it and unless you request otherwise, we will not share it with a third party nor will we sell, rent license or trade your personal information unless you give us permission to do so. The second is information collected automatically when you visit, such as your IP address, the type of browser you use and the pages you view. Online identifiers like an IP address or a cookie can be personal information, and we treat them as such. FATE will only use this information to help us deliver a better website service to you.

Cookie Policy
About cookies
Cookies are small text files that are stored by your web browser (eg Google Chrome, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Apple Safari and Mozilla Firefox). They are placed on your computer’s hard drive or mobile phone. The website of FATE uses cookies so that our site can recognise who you are and make your browsing experience more enjoyable. Cookies on our website do not store personal or sensitive information such as name, address, email or payment details
Different types of cookies
There are two different types of cookies – ‘session’ cookies and ‘persistent’ cookies. The FATE website, like many websites, uses both. Session cookies are temporary cookies that expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies have a longer expiration date and stay on your computer hard-drive until you manually delete them – usually when you delete your search history.
Persistent cookies
One example of a persistent cookie is the ‘remember me on this computer’ function which means you can access the private area of a website again from your own PC or mobile, without logging-in again. Session cookies and persistent cookies which may be placed on our website by us are known for this reason are ‘first party cookies.’
Third party cookies
‘Third party cookies’ are used by analytics companies such as Google to gather information about the habits you display and the websites you browse. Because this information can be linked to you, it can be personal information, and this policy covers it.
Here’s a list of the main types of cookies usde, and what we use them for.
- Finding us – How you found our website (search terms) and which website, if any you came from. This helps us understand which methods of promotion and keywords are the most effective.
- We use cookies to ensure your safety on the website and prevent other people from accessing your information.
- We have cookies which tell us if you are new to the website or have visited us before, so that we can see how many new visits to the website we have. This gives us an idea of how many members vs new contacts we have interested in Friends at the End.
