The Dignitas experience: ‘It was all a bit scruffy, but it didn’t seem to matter’ Diana and I didn’t say much as we travelled to Switzerland that September day. All the decisions had been made; there was nothing really to talk about. Our minds were totally concentrated on what lay ahead. Diana’s cousin and his wife came with us and drove us up to Heathrow for the flight to Zurich.
Supporting us financially, in any way you can, will help us to improve end of life choices and enable us to support people (regardless of their circumstances) to make sure their rights at that time are fully respected. Every contribution is a step in the right direction towards greater choice
Friends at the End is a Scottish Charity promoting knowledge and understanding of end of life choices and campaigning to change the law to allow Assisted Dying in the UK.
