Doctors offer way forward on assisted suicide I gather that doctors are, for the first time ever, about to be asked to consider their patients’ best interests after they have died. That should make for an interesting new clause in the Hippocratic oath, which for the last two-and-a-half-thousand years or so has concerned itself with the preservation of life.
